CSE 204 is the fourth course in a series of four CSE 200 level Java Programming courses(CSE 201, 202, 203, 204) that are designed to introduce students understand the fundamental object-oriented language programming skills and computer science concepts. This course requires students to complete Java Programming II first. Students will gain a head start in preparing for the high school AP® Computer Science A Exam, as well as introductory college computer science classes (such as the University of Washington's CSE143 Computer Programming II class).
Content:
Top down and bottom up design pattern, selection sort, insertion sort, merge sort, set: hash set and tree set, map: hash map and tree map, equals method and hashCode method, comparable interface, comparator class/comparator anonymous class, the inversion number.
Prerequisites: CSE 203 JAVA Programming III or having the equivalent knowledge.
Equipment: iMac 21.5 Inch All-in-one Desktop Computers are provided.
